ProxCenter v1.4.11 Release
Licenses are now delivered and renewed from your proxcenter.io account, with a redesigned License tab, air-gapped installs and upgrades, and PVE backup job history.

ProxCenter v1.4.11 is a feature release focused on licensing, installation and operations. Licenses can now be delivered and renewed from your proxcenter.io account, the License tab has been redesigned, and ProxCenter can be installed and upgraded on air-gapped sites. The release also adds PVE backup job history, guest disk bandwidth monitoring, and a long list of Site Recovery, migration and tenant fixes.
π Licensing
Connect to proxcenter.io
From Settings > License, a ProxCenter installation can now be connected to proxcenter.io. Approve the code from your account, or let your reseller partner approve it, and the license is delivered within seconds. It then renews itself through a daily sync, with nothing to copy or paste.
Add-ons follow the same path: HA and API add-ons are delivered and renewed together with the edition.
One license, one installation
A license now follows a single installation. The License tab shows the installation fingerprint, and a license bound to another installation raises a critical alert instead of silently falling back to Community. The identity can be reset when needed.
If a network outage prevents the sync, the failure is shown with its next retry time, and the license keeps working until the end of its 30 day lease.
A redesigned License tab
The License tab is reorganised around a single summary card, alerts with their actions, the license table and an Advanced section.
- Partners appear in the License tab with their name and logo, and their customers are pointed to them for renewals
- An imported license takes over when the main license is missing, expired, past its lease or bound elsewhere, and the tab says which license provides the edition and until when
- "Server without Internet access?" explains the offline steps before downloading the request file
- License actions are reserved to the provider tenant in a multi-tenant installation
π¦ Air-gapped installation and upgrades
ProxCenter can now be installed and upgraded from an air-gapped bundle, with checksums and a manifest, for sites without Internet access.
- Community: the
proxcenter-community-1.4.11.tar.gzasset of the GitHub release - Enterprise: your account on proxcenter.io, Air-gapped tab
The procedure is described in the air-gapped installation guide.
The orchestrator also reports its real version instead of dev, and building from source is now documented.
π Site Recovery
The plan drawer now shows per-guest states: skipped because a backup holds the guest, re-seed required with its reason and a confirmation, or source guest missing, with its orphaned DR snapshots cleaned from the Snapshots tab.
Plans sharing a guest are shown, a test failover cleanup can be followed while it runs, and plan details open in a proper window.
π Migration
- A failed warm delta pass is retried instead of failing the migration
- Snapshots that block a migration within the cluster are explained, and a disk move or unused disk removal warns about them first
- Bulk migration starts each guest once, and migrated VMs receive the Proxmox default CPU type
- A finished NFC download is kept when the node is slow to answer the checks that follow
π’ Multi-tenancy and vDC
- Tenants can deploy the templates the provider shared with them, and the vDC ISO library shows in the wizard again
- Custom image sources: tenant uploads stay usable, provider images stay deployable from an ISO library storage, and an image pointing at another guest's disk is refused
- The deploy wizard lists only the selected vDC's storages, with the quota caption
- MAC and VLAN changes require explicit rights, and the media right alone mounts, swaps and ejects an ISO
- A tenant saving its inherited branding keeps the provider's logo, and the favicon follows the tenant switch
π Monitoring and backups
Guest disk bandwidth
Guest disk bandwidth and IO pressure are now shown in the VM list, the storage overview and the Summary charts. Performance metrics can also be displayed over a custom time range, picked or dragged directly on the chart.
PVE backup job history
The run history of PVE backup jobs is now available with the log per guest, and several guests can be restored from one backup server in a single pass.
Alerts and audit
- The guest disk latency peak raises its own alert, and acknowledged alerts leave the bell and the dashboard widgets
- The audit log is forwarded to syslog and SIEM collectors
- Node summary gauges show the resources provisioned to the node's guests
β¨ Also in this release
| Area | What's new |
|---|---|
| π₯οΈ Nodes | Node Update dialog reports the real apt outcome and never reboots after a failed update; PVE stops the guests on node shutdown or reboot; SSH host key of a reinstalled node re-trusted from the interface |
| π Consoles | Consoles and terminals stay on the fallback node when the PVE API endpoint fails over |
| πΊοΈ Inventory | Flow Diagram search by IP, name or VMID; empty Proxmox pools shown; an active task stops from its row |
| π₯ Firewall | Disabled rules shown as disabled, and load failures explained instead of an empty list |
| πΎ PBS | Backups no longer named after a live guest that only shares the VMID |
| π Authentication | Ordered SSO group mappings, LDAPS with an internally signed CA, OIDC id_token kept on the session row |
| π Maps | Configurable map tiles, CARTO watermark removed |
β¬οΈ Upgrading
Eight database migrations are included and run automatically at first boot, and the orchestrator updates its own schema when it starts. Nothing has to be edited by hand, on a standalone installation as on an HA cluster.
docker compose pull && docker compose up -d
Your current license keeps working
Existing licenses, as a file or a pasted key, keep working unchanged. Connecting to proxcenter.io is a choice, made from the License tab.
Licenses delivered through the connected mode require ProxCenter 1.4.11 or later: if you receive one, update first, then click Connect to proxcenter.io. File licenses issued before 1.4.11 are not offered for pairing, and air-gapped sites keep the file flow.
Full instructions are available in the ProxCenter update guide.
Thank you to everyone who contributed feedback, testing and issue reports for this release.
